REGARDING SERVICE OF PROCESS
We can handle your service of civil process locally, throughout the state and throughout the country. Our local teams are among the most experienced and professional in the industry. You will also find our network of affiliate Process Servers throughout the United States are of the highest levels of professionalism and efficiency. We offer several types of service: Routine, Rush, Priority Rush and Emergency Service to accommodate your needs. Our local service area includes the Volusia County area. We will also provide, as part of our basic service fee, initial research through our databases to locate the person being served when we discover that they have moved, are out of business or the address on the document is no longer valid for any reason.
ROUTINE SERVICE LOCAL
All civil process in the Volusia County area is attempted within 72hrs from the date we receive it. This is the routine service window which allows us to pick up your paper work, process it through our system (record it in our database, prepare the affidavit and route it to the process server) and effect service during the regular course of business. Effecting service may actually take longer than three to five days due to unforeseen events, such as the recipient being unavailable or avoiding, not being in at the time the process server is there, or simply not answering the door for the process server. If we encounter excessive delays or the due date is approaching and we have not yet effected service, we will communicate proactively with your office to ensure there are no “surprises” daily communication is essential to both the client and the full process.
RUSH SERVICE LOCAL
Rush service is attempted within 24-48 hours from the time we receive your paperwork for personal service and by the end of the next business day for corporate service. In many instances we attempt service the very same day. Requests for service that must be completed within 72 hours are considered Rush service.
OUT OF TOWN SERVICE ROUTINE
For service outside of the Volusia County area, regular service is attempted within 3 to 5 days from the date we receive the paperwork from your office. In some cases service is effected much sooner depending on the location and accuracy of the information provided.
OUT OF TOWN SERVICE RUSH
For Rush service anywhere outside of the Volusia County area, we will make sure the server has the documents as quickly as possible to ensure they are able to attempt rush service. It may be necessary for the documents to be sent by Federal Express, etc. Rush service is attempted within 24-48 hours from the time we receive the documents.
SPECIAL REQUESTS/EMERGENCY SERVICE/SAME DAY SERVICE
Service on a specific date & time is considered service by appointment; please call our office for rates & to make arrangements. Any other service which is outside of the above stated descriptions can be handled by our office, please call so one of our associates may assist you with your special needs. We can accommodate your requests; however, it may require special services for which fees will be determined at the time of your request.
Process Service: Volusia, Putnam, Flagler and St Johns Counties.
